TORONTO, Ontario – October 15, 2024 – Toyota is conducting a safety recall involving certain 2024 Toyota Sequoia and Tundra vehicles produced from May 2024 to July 2024. Approximately 918 vehicles are involved in this recall in Canada.
The inner sidewall of the passenger-side front and rear tires may have been damaged during vehicle assembly. If structural damage has occurred, a tire may suddenly lose air pressure while driving, which could result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
For all involved vehicles, Toyota dealers will inspect all tires and replace damaged ones free of charge.
Customers will be notified about this issue through the mail by mid-December 2024.
