TORONTO, Ontario – October1, 2021 – Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI)Q3 overall sales reported 65,460 units sold for a Q3 record, up 2.6% from Q3 in 2020. The Toyota division sold 57,403 units in Q3, up 0.2% from Q3 2020. TCI’s luxury division, Lexus reported 8,057 units sold, up 23.2% from Q3 2020, recording a monthly record for September and an all-time quarterly record.
In September 2021, TCI sales accounted for 20,306 units sold, down 8.7% from September 2020. Toyota division sold 17,365 units, down 12.7% from September 2020, while Lexus division sold 2,941 units, up 25.7% from September 2020. TCI’s electrified vehicle sales also achieved a September sales record with 5,387 units sold, up 10.6% from September 2020.
