(BROSSARD, PQ – December 18, 2017) Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) has issued a statement regarding the zero emission vehicle regulations announced by the Québec government today.
"Toyota Canada shares a common objective with the Québec government to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transportation sector. How we achieve significant greenhouse gas reductions is important, and we think the flexibility Minister Melançon has shown in her announcement today brings us all closer to achieving these objectives," said Toyota Canada’s Vice President, Corporate, Stephen Beatty. "Toyota Canada looks forward to working closely with the government to decarbonize transportation in Québec by continuing to provide electrified vehicle options for consumers."
