(Toronto, ON) – Trust. It’s something Toyota Canada works very hard to earn from its customers. That’s why Toyota is proud to be voted Canada’s Most Trusted Brand in two categories – Passenger Car Manufacturer and SUV Manufacturer – in a national study commissioned by Reader’s Digest.
“This is a remarkable honour and we’re humbled to accept these important endorsements from Canadians,” noted Stephen Beatty, Managing Director of Toyota Canada Inc. “At Toyota, we know that trust is something you have to earn - and keep. From proven environmental innovations that mean savings at the pump, to quality manufacturing that means fewer repair bills, to industry leading resale values when drivers are ready to move on to their next Toyota, Canadians trust Toyota to deliver real value.”
Reader’s Digest Canada commissioned Harris/Decima to conduct a research study into Canada’s most trusted brands as part of a Reader’s Digest global initiative. The results are reported in the June 2009 issues of Reader’s Digest and Selection du Reader’s Digestmagazines.
“We’d like to thank Reader’s Digest and Selection du Reader’s Digest for these awards, as well as the many Canadian drivers who have voted Toyota as one of their most trusted brands,” Mr. Beatty continued. “We continue to work hard to earn that trust, with a commitment to building Canada’s most popular Toyota models right here in Canada, and a philosophy of continuous improvement and a desire to make things better for our customers and our communities.”
Toyota offers Canadians real value and peace of mind, by building and selling a full range of high-quality, reliable and fuel-efficient passenger cars, trucks and SUVs.
